Except it's not doing wonders to your body and health. Foods like that are high in fat and if you're not active during the day they just store up in your body without being burned off.

So you need to try a little extra harder to incorporate smart foods into your diet. Foods that are high in fibre are one such thing. Fibre-rich diets do such things as prevent certain types of cancers as well as keep cholesterol in check. Two very important things. Examples of foods with fibre include pumpernickel break, chickpeas and frozen raspberries. The next time you're at the spa in Edmonton why not snack on some frozen raspberries instead of chocolate?

One way you can ensure eating foods that include vitamins, fibre and are low in fat is by reading labels. Most foods you buy should have labels that list all the ingredients, vitamins and nutritional information. Try to purchase more items that are fat-free. It's really not that hard to buy foods that are nutritional for you. A lot of companies have realized how conscious eaters are nowadays so they've created products to cater to that market.

The better you eat, the better you'll feel. We're not saying you won't ever have to go to a doctor or dentist in Mississauga again but we do believe eating healthy will be a benefit to your life and even add a few more years.
